President’s Message

Welcome to the website of Blue Knights, Georgia VI.  Georgia VI was originally chartered inWoodstock (CherokeeCounty)Georgia in 1999. There were 17 founding members. Several of our founding members are still active in our group.

We have approximately 50 members who represent more than a dozen local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. We are a fraternal organization that prides itself on leaving the politics of police work, at work.

We are a very active Chapter, with monthly meetings and other activities which include group rides, overnight trips, charity events, as well as support for many community events. Our Chapter has sponsored events that have raised thousands of dollars for organizations like Angel Flight of Georgia and Dream House for Medically Fragile Kids. Several times a year our membership grills out dinner for the kids and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scotish Rite.

Most of the time, we are just happy going for a ride, grabbing a bite to eat, and enjoying the camaraderie of our group. At times we may look and dress like members of other motorcycle clubs, but make no mistake, we are different: “we are the good guys”.

So, if you are an active Law Enforcement Officer or a retired Law Enforcement Officer who owns a motorcycle and loves to ride, you should consider joining your brothers and sisters as a member of Georgia VI.  You do not need to own a particular make of motorcycle as all motorcycles are welcome in the Blue Knights. Our annual dues are only $30 per year and it is money well spent.

The Blue Knights is a world-wide fraternal organization of LEO’s with one common purpose:  We all own motorcycles and we love to ride.  Blue Knights International has over 20,000 members around the world!

In the meantime, enjoy the wind in your face and please, ride safely!
